После падения в четвертом квартале 2013 года до 1,81 балла из пяти возможных индекс вырос в первом квартале 2014 года до 2,72 балла. Наиболее привлекательными регионами участники опроса считают Западную и Центральную Украину, наименее привлекательными – Восточную и Южную Украину. К наиболее сильным негативным факторам отнесли нестабильность ситуации и геополитический конфликт с Россией.  От нового Правительства Украины бизнес в первую очередь ожидает борьбу с коррупцией, упрощение таможенных процедур, реформирование судебной системы, проведение земельной реформы, изменение технических барьеров в торговле. На пресс-завтраке в конференц-зале отеля Хаятт Ридженси Киев (Hyatt Regency Kiev) топ-менеджеры, представляющие компании из разных секторов бизнеса, рассказали о своем видении экономической ситуации в Украине. Бизнес ждет улучшений, изменений и готов к диалогу – акцентировала Анна Деревянко, модератор встречи, исполнительный директор Европейской Бизнес Ассоциации.  Томаш Фиала и Анна Деревянко Томаш Фиала, генеральный директор Dragon Capital, считает, что власть и экономическая ситуация в Украине будут меняться постепенно и позитивные изменения ВВП возможны лишь в четвертом квартале 2014 года. По мнению Олега Вержбицкого, генерального директора DB Schenker, сигналы бизнес в Украине получает хорошие, однако до европейских стандартов в логистике еще далеко. Особенно в сфере управления железной дорогой, автомагистралями, почтой, портами. Кшиштоф Сидлецкий, руководитель представительства Aslellas Pharma, надеется на реформы системные, предсказуемые для бизнеса и понятные для граждан Украины. Кшиштоф Сидлецкий и Дмитрий Шоломко Может ли «электронное Правительство» повысить прозрачность новой власти? Для этого нужны время, законодательные решения и широкий доступ населения к интернету. Так считает Дмитрий Шоломко, директор Google Ukraine. Тимур Бондарев, управляющий партнер юридической компании Arzinger, выделил в качестве приоритетов прозрачность назначения чиновников, судебную систему, привлечение инвестиций в регионы.   Не секрет, что стабильность экономики и инвестиций зависит от политики соседей на Востоке и Западе. Поэтому чаще всего упоминались Россия, Польша, Словакия. Россия в связи с Крымом и ситуацией на Юго-Востоке Украины, Польша как пример развития, Словакия как приоритетный вариант реверса газа. Бизнес ситуацию в Украине чувствует и голосует «за» или «против» своими деньгами. Бизнес готов быть более публичным, говорить о проблемах, обсуждать приоритеты.
